Salem Man One of 16 Arrests at DWI Checkpoint

New Hampshire State Police, in conjunction with the Hampton (N.H.) Police Department and Rockingham County (N.H.) Sheriff's Office, conducted the checkpoint on Route 1A in Seabrook, N.H.

Police say a "sobriety checkpoint" on the seacoast of New Hampshire conducted Saturday night resulted in 556 cars being stopped and 16 arrests, including a Salem man.

New Hampshire State Police, in conjunction with the Hampton (N.H.) Police Department and Rockingham County (N.H.) Sheriff's Office, conducted the checkpoint on Route 1A in Seabrook, N.H.

Those arrested and charged were, according to New Hampshire State Police Troop A:
  • George Bourgeois, 54, Salem, Mass., DWI
  • Tyler Callahan, 18, of Medford, Mass., Aggravated DWI
  • Harold Alvarez, 26, East Boston, Mass, DWI
  • John Goglia, 23, Windham, N.H. DWI
  • Joshua Forgione, 24, Windham, N.H. DWI
  • Jillian Lacone, 36, Haverhill, Mass., DWI
  • Joshua Collazo, 19, Webster, Mass., DWI
  • Matthew Lacourse, 29, Dudley, Mass., DWI
  • Francis Gentile, 51, Worcester, Mass., DWI
  • Kevin Gomez, 25, Lawrence, Mass., Open Container/Possession of Controlled Drug
  • Neftaly Alvarez, 29, Lynn, Mass., Possession of Controlled Drug
  • Meghan Carty, 18, Fremont, N.H. Warrant
  • Rebekah Barr, 20, East Kingston, N.H. Prohibitions
  • Jordan Remillard, 18, Webster, Mass., Unlawful Possession of Alcohol
  • Jeremy Vargas, 20, Webster, Mass., Unlawful Possession of Alcohol
  • Patrick Lucey, 22, Methuen, Mass., Open Container/Possession of Controlled Drug

Police said one juvenile was taken into custody for possession of alcohol. 

Those charged are scheduled to appear in the 10th Circuit Court-Seabrook Division on Aug. 7.
