Salem Man Escapes from District Court

Police said a Salem man, who tried to escape from Friday morning was caught in the MBTA Parking Lot.
Diarra Pickett, 17, was in custody after he was arrested yesterday on a charge of larceny of property over $250 and was being investigated for bike theft.
Friday morning, after his escape from District Court, a foot pursuit ensued and all units responded.
After he was apprehended in the MBTA parking lot, he was transported back to the .
He faces an escape charge.
