Rock Thrown Through Kitchen Window on Leavitt Street

Friday, March 2

4:01 p.m. — Threats were reported on Pope Street.

4:30 p.m. — Two youths were reportedly throwing snowballs at Mason and Buffum streets. Police located the kids, but they were not throwing snow. Both admitted to throwing snow at each other, police said, but not at passing cars.

5:22 p.m. — A past sexual assault was reported.

5:38 p.m. — Identity fraud was reported on Salem Street.

5:42 p.m. — Two men fighting were reported on Sewall Street, but police said they were not able to find anyone.

6:01 p.m. — A solicitor was reported on Eclipse Lane.

9:42 p.m. — An intoxicated man was reported in the bathroom. The man was placed into protective custody and issued a no trespass order, police said.

9:52 p.m. — Kids throwing rocks were reported on Naumkeag Street.  Police were not able to find anyone.

10:31 p.m. — Loud music was reported on Palmer Street. The person agreed to shut off the music for the night, police said.

11:28 p.m. — A directed patrol of the Congress Street parking garage was made.

11:34 p.m. — Police made a directed patrol of the Klop Alley area.

11:38 p.m. — Another directed patrol was made, this time in the area of the rear lot of the Hawthorne Hotel.

11:42 p.m. — A part of South Salem was checked for off campus activity, police said.

11:49 p.m. — Police monitored Museum Place Mall Parking garage.

11:53 p.m. — Officers made a directed patrol of Rainbow Terrace.

Saturday, March 3

12:07 a.m. — A loud party was reported on Porter Street. Police said the person agreed to turn off the music for the evening.

12:18 a.m. — Officers responded to Harbor Street on a report of loud music.

1:38 a.m. —Loud neighbors/a possible domestic was reported on Pope Street. The responding officer said there was "no problem at the residence," adding that the person was "in bed and could not understand why [the officer] was knocking on her door."

2:18 a.m. — Loud music was reported on Ward Street. Police said they located a loud party. The resident turned of the music and was advised of the consequences of future complaints, police said.

8:26 a.m. — Police received a prank call in Spanish from Howard Street on a 911 transfer.

8:28 a.m. — Possibly stolen aluminum siding was reported on Oak Street. Police said there was no larceny; the siding was just knocked down.

8:37 a.m. — Police were alerted to an unknown disturbance at 38 Pingree St. Police responded to the area on the call, which came through the state's 911 system. The address does not exist, police said, and no disturbances were found. Police said it was another prank call.

9:02 a.m. — A broken window at Leavitt and Naumkeag streets was reported,  police said. A man said his kitchen window had been smashed by a rock. The man said the rock was thrown from the Naumkeag side of the street. The caller said he would notify the landlord.

10:02 a.m. — An undesirable was reported at .

11:45 a.m. — A man reported he locked himself out of his truck on Traders Way, and his dogs were inside. assisted the man, police said.

11:48 a.m. — Possible stolen gutters were reported on Orne Street. Police spoke with a worker, and it was determined no gutters were missing.

12:39 a.m. — A wire down on a vehicle was reported on Grove Street.

12:42 p.m. — Police said a stolen purse was reported at . Police said the purse was eventually turned in with all the contents inside.
