Group Home Under Investigation After Allegation of Abuse
The mother of a group home resident said he son was assaulted by a Salem group home worker.
An investigation is underway into a Salem group home after the mother of one of its residents says her son was beaten there is March, reports WBZ radio AM 1030.
The group home on Green Street is run by the May Institute, which told WBZ it is cooperating fully with the investigation by the Essex County District Attorney’s office, Salem Police and the state Department of Mental Health.
