UPDATED: Family Dollar Store Robbed at Gunpoint
The robbery occurred Sunday night on Canal Street.
The in Salem was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night, according to scanner reports.
The report indicated the suspect showed a small silver handgun.
Salem Police said there was a lone gunman who was completely disguised, rushed at two employees and forced them to give him money. Nobody was hurt, police said.
At 10:05 p.m. detectives said they were currently working on the case.
Family dollar is located at 138 Canal St.
