7 Vehicles Parked in Salem Have Tires Slashed Overnight

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:

Wednesday, Feb. 13:

• At 3:29 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Porter Street.
• At 6:27 p.m., police responded to a report of a man shaking back and forth and acting strange in a car on Clifton Avenue. Michael McKenna, 52, of 45 Summit Ave., Salem, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, second offense.
• At 9:37 p.m., police responded to the area of Fairfield Street after receiving word that there was a man wearing all black slashing tires. Seven vehicles ended up having their tires slashed and police were unable to locate anyone in the area matching the description provided.

Thursday, Feb. 14:

• At 11:31 a.m., police arrested a woman at Probate Court for having an outstanding warrant. Amy M. Comire, 37, of 233 Fairmount Ave., Saugus, was arrested for having an outstanding warrant.
• At 11:54 a.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Willson St. Ivonete D. Souza, 46, of 12 Makepeace St., Saugus, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
• At 1:03 p.m., police were asked to enter a home on Gardner Street to have the residents move their cars for snow removal. Chad L. Goodwin, 22, of 26 Gardner St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of possessing a class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute. Christopher Mastropietro, 21, of 44 Gage Ave., Revere, was arrested on a charge of conspiracy to violate a drug law. Sarra E. Bergeron, 22, of 26 Gardner St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of conspiracy to violate a drug law. Kasey J. Higgins, 19, of 32 Stewart St., Billerica, was arrested on a charge of conspiracy to violate a drug law. Andrew J. Cetola, 22, of 26 Gardner St., Salem, was arrested on a charge of possessing a class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute. Stephen E. Taylor, 20, of 91 Bellfloer Road, Billerica, was arrested on a charge of possessing a class D substance (marijuana) with intent to distribute.

Alex R. Ledford, 17, of 42 Newhall St., Lynn, was arrested for having an outstanding warrant.
