At 4:19 a.m., local police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment building at 106 Linden St. and began searching the city for a red vehicle with four male occupants.

Griffin said police found that two bullets were fired into one of the building's second-floor apartments while others ended up in other units.

"The investigation takes on a different kind of urgency when one of the shots went into the building, ricocheted off of a window and ended up in the wall about a foot above where a woman was feeding her baby," Griffin said. "We're lucky this wasn't much worse."

No one was injured during the incident.
