Wedding Venue Spotlight (May 2014)

If you are a native to the North Shore you know it boasts amazingly beautiful venues differing in capacity, price, views, and location.

Before you get your heart set on a dream wedding venue take those factors into consideration, what can you afford? What type of view are you looking for? How many guests will be attending? Is the reception location’s proximity to the wedding service important?

Once you take into consideration all the most important factors then you can begin your research. We will help you with this by highlighting a different local venue each month.

Our first spotlight is the Danversport Yatch Club located in Danvers, MA, which has been recognized for its wonderful wedding reputation by “The Knot, Best of Weddings 2013” and “WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards 2013”.

If you decided that views, location and flexibility in capacity are important to you then Danversport may be just the wedding venue you are looking for.

Danversport is nestled on the Danvers River with easy access right off highway 128 and provides beautiful water views from all three of its venues. Each of the three venues offer different capacity levels and provide a unique atmosphere for guests.

If you answered above that having smaller capacity is important to you then you might just find the Lighthouse Point venue to be perfect for your day. This venue accommodates 50 to 90 guests and provides a cozy intimate setting with water views on all three sides. Access to the courtyard and a tented patio is great for a summer, spring or fall wedding!

Are you looking for a large venue? No problem! Danversport’s Garden Terrace venue accommodates 100 to 225 guests and provides access to beautiful gardens and waterfront patio.

Still not large enough for your huge family and friend guest list? No worries, The Harborview Ballroom holds between 200 and 650 guests! Now if that doesn’t accommodate all your friends and family I’m not sure what will! This grand ballroom boasts beautiful, dramatic chandeliers and a private deck overlooking the water, truly setting the mood for a glamorous evening.

Overall the best part about the Danversport Yatch Club, unlike other wedding venues is there are no hidden fees and the staff go above and beyond in taking care of everything for you that day. No need to stress or fuss over the details. For more information on this lovely North Shore venue check out,

My little sister is getting married in the fall and we are all so excited. She is having me help out a lot with the planning. Right now we are trying to find a place that can accommodate 150-200 people. She would also like it to be within her price range of $3,000. I hope we can find something.
