Patricia was an enthusiastic gardener and her home was a beautiful tribute to her skill.
She was also a skilled knitter and an active member of the Knitting Circle at the Swampscott Senior Center. Many of her pieces were auctioned for charities.
She was active at the Union Club of Boston in its sports committee and the social life that she shared with her husband and the many, many friends she had there.
Speaking of her, her husband, John, said: "This was a good, good person who helped many people quietly and without anyone knowing. She really befriended all those who know her."
