OBITUARY: Boleslaus W. Andruszkiewicz, of Salem

Here is the obituary for Boleslaus W. Andruszkiewicz, 84, of Salem.

Boleslaus W. Andruszkiewicz, 84, husband of the late Rita E . (Bouchard) Andruszkiewicz, formerly of Mason St., Salem died in the Rockingham County Nursing Home, in Brentwood, New Hampshire on Sunday evening January 26, 2014. Born in Salem, the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Kempa) Andruszkiewicz, he was raised and educated in Salem schools.

Following his graduation from Salem High School, he served in the United States Army. Following his discharge, Mr. Andruszkiewicz became a second generation employee at Mason Tanning in Salem. He later retired as a Foreman with over 50 years of employment. Mr. Andruszkiewicz was a lifelong parishioner of St James Church and had served as an usher for many years.

He enjoyed his children, grandchildren and their families. A dedicated Red Sox Fan, he was grateful to see the Red Sox win the World Series.

Mr. Andruszkiewicz is survived by three children, Peter and his wife Danielle Andruszkiewicz of Barrington, Rhode Island, Paul and his wife Julie Andruszkiewicz of Springfield, MA and Patty and her husband Steve Falconer of New Market, NH; a brother, Rev. Albin Andruszkiewicz of Portland, ME; a sister Theresa St. Pierre of Naples, FL and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers John and Joseph Andruszkiewicz. His funeral will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 9:15 AM from the Murphy Funeral Home 85 Federal St, Salem to be followed by a Funeral Mass at at 10:00 AM in St James Church, 156 Federal St, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Murphy Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Salem.
