Dog of the Day January 30th: Bailey

Baily needs a fur-ever home!!!

"Hi, It's me Bailey. I'm back from quite the adventure. I slipped away from my temporary home back in September and I've been on the run ever since. It wasn't easy, I can tell you that, but being a street dog from Puerto Rico has it's benefits. I was able to survive and eventually be rescued. I did need some recovery time at the shelter and in my foster home and everyone is being really patient and gentle with me. I'm still the same wary dog I was before, but I'm a little older and a little wiser now. I am finally available for adoption and the staff wants you to know I'm safe, I'm loved and I'm very grateful to be warm. Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes. The staff says they will update you on my progress as often as they can."

From the Shelter Staff: Baily is adjusting very well in his foster home and is available for adoption again. If you are interested in meeting Bailey or would like more information on him you can contact Marianna. Her email address is marianna.m@neas.org or you can call the shelter and talk to her in person.

Bailey is a 9-month-old neutered male Lab Mix. He weighs 35 lbs.
