"Hi, I'm Pandora and I'm looking for love! I'm from California so I'm what you could call a California girl! We love the warm sun and walks on the beach. I'm what the staff is calling a typical Chihuahua. This means I love my person with all my heart and it is my job to protect them from strangers. A stranger to me is anyone except my owner. If you know Chihuahuas you know what I'm trying to say. I can't help it, but once I get to know people, they are not strangers anymore and I will accept them. I know a Chihuahua who loves more than one person. She loves her mom, her dad, her human sister and her grandparents. She would never bite them. She also loves most all the people she sees at work when she goes in with her mom every day. Some day I could be like her too, but right now I don't belong to anyone. Please ask about me. I would love to go home and show you how wonderful I am."
From the Shelter Staff: Pandora is your typical Chihuahua, this is true. Her playfulness and rough exterior could easily be mistaken for aggressive behavior. She just loves to play and she takes playing very seriously when she has her favorite soft toy. She growls, and shakes it vigorously until the toy finally surrenders. Because she can come across so intimidating, she would do best without children. At the same time she probably would not want to be an old ladies lap dog, Pandora really wants to have a good time. Pandora's ideal home would be with a single woman who knows the Chihuahua breed. She is very protective of her person.
Pandora is a 10-month-old spayed female Chihuahua Mix. She weighs 8 lbs.
