Will Self-Driving Cars Work in Massachusetts?

A Google self-driving car could face unique challenges in Boston and other area of Massachusetts.

Google has been developing self-driving cars for the past five years, but the challenges of driving in Massachusetts and the greater Boston area are shaping up to be quite a challenge, reports The Boston Globe.

In an interview with a Massachusetts Institute of Technology robotics professor, he tells the paper that difficulties such as snow-covered parked cars and "erratic hand gestures" from police officers are challenges that still need to be overcome.
