Salem Toy Museum - Preserving Toy Pop Culture and History for its special design sense historical significance and enjoyment for all. The Salem Toy Museum is an independently owned and operated museum dedicated to preserving and exhibiting toys from the 1950s to the present.  Our long term goal is to serve as a time capsule for future generations; not only are the toys themselves key but the sense of pop culture surrounding them, as well as the historical significance, is of great importance.  Especially in terms of what I consider to be the golden age of toys, the 1950s through the end of the 1970s, there is a collective wealth of shared memories.

There is but a handful of people dedicated to preserving this important part of pop culture and sharing it for years to come. 

When I started this project I thought it would be the toys that would be the best part but its really turned out to be the people! The people have been so wonderful and I'm hoping that people also see into their hearts to support this project as well.
