SALEM RESIDENTS & owners w/ID can recycle electronics for FREE the last Saturday of each month. In addition, if you've registered for Salem's Curbside Compost program (sign up at GreenSalem.com), you can pick up your bins.
WHAT TO RECYCLE: Anything with a plug, TVs, electronics, appliances, mercury content items, fluorescent bulbs (compacts & long tubes), house keys. Detailed list here,

WHERE: DPW, 5 Jefferson Ave, Salem. Enter the Police Station parking lot and turn right toward the DPW.
LIMITS: TVs and CRT monitors limited to 2 items / month. White goods, 1 item / month. (There will be a small fee for these items beginning July, 2014.)
