Salem residents & owners w/ID recycle electronics for free the last Saturday of the month. Drop off at the DPW, 5 Jefferson Ave., from 8:00AM-noon. Enter via the Police Station parking lot, & turn right toward the DPW next door.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: nearly everything with a plug, TVs, electronics, appliances, mercury content items, and fluorescent bulbs (both compact and long tubes). Also house keys for "Keys For Hope."
LIMITS: TVs and CRT monitors limited to 2 items / month. White goods, 1 item / month. No limit on all other smaller items.
