Modern Wind Band Works, Inspired by the Renaissance, performed by Salem Winds

Salem Winds, a 40-member professional wind ensemble, will present a concert of modern band works inspired by the Renaissance.  Works will include 
Gordon Jacob's William Byrd Suite,  Ron Nelson's Courtly Airs and Dances, Guy Woolfenden's Illyrian Dances, and the traditional Greensleeves,  arranged by Alfred Reed. Salem Winds is made up of accomplished adult musicians from Boston's North Shore and surrounding communities and is dedicated to preserving and sustaining the extraordinary wind band heritage of Salem.  The concert is open to the public and admission is free.
