GOODNIGHT, CAPTAIN WHITE - Salem's Hysterical History Mystery
Salem’s
Hysterical Maritime Mystery — This October, Rockafellas Restaurant in Salem
serves up a 5-star event for Haunted Happenings—blending an exquisite maritime
meal and a notorious Salem murder imagined by the creators of Cry Innocent. —
It's 1830, and all friends and well-wishers are invited to attend a retirement
party thrown by the fabulously wealthy sea captain Joseph White. But enemies
and ill-wishers also arrive dressed to kill and bent on revenge. Who delivers
the mortal blow? The beleaguered Daniel Webster must figure out who-dunit and
how. — Goodnight, Captain White is “a provocative script…with dialogue with the tone
of a Gilbert & Sullivan operetta” (Lowell Sun); “an ideal production for a
dinner theatre” (The Salem News); “rich with innuendo…a talented cast…a night
of good fun” (Destination Salem). — Plays at
Colonial Hall, upstairs at Rockafellas Restaurant, 231 Essex
Street. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, October 11th-13th
and October 18th-20th. Dinner begins at 7:00, show at 7:30. Tickets are available at http://goodnightcaptainwhite.brownpapertickets.com. — See facebook.com/events/232259283590916 for all the historic (or not so)
pre-party gossip.
