Community Corner

First Universalist Society of Salem (UU): Thanksgiving Sunday

THIS SUNDAY AT FUSS: Rev. Clyde Grubbs leads our Thanksgiving "Cider and corn bread communion" worship, followed by a community potluck. Worship at 10:45am, nursery care available.

At the potluck, keep an eye out for Clyde's Three Sisters Stew --Maize, squash, and beans. These three crops grew together, each giving its support to the other two. The soil was prepared by the squash roots, and the maize provided shade to the squash plant, and its stalk provided a support for the bean vine....

Join FUSS for our weekly Sunday worship.  Together we bring our own different ideas about faith, justice, community, and worship into a church gathering like no other.

FUSS does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identification, disability, financial circumstances, or adherence to any particular religious creed. When we say "all are welcome," we mean it!
