The 24th Annual Boston Jewish Film Festival - Dressing America: Tales from the Garment Center
What were once shmattas (rags) became the material that clothed America. This engaging cultural-historical documentary looks at the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple’s heavily Jewish garment district through the eyes of an octogenarian fabric salesman, the creator of New York Fashion Week and the third-generation owners of a machine shop.
