Hot L Baltimore by Lanford Wilson

Memorial Day. 7 am. The already disenfranchised residents of the decaying Hotel Baltimore are pushed further to the edge as they face eviction from the condemned structure. Over the course of this one day an eclectic and eccentric cast of characters from every walk of life meet in the lobby. We overhear their conversations about the passing events of their lives, simple everyday encounters. Out of these exchanges each character emerges clearly defined, the sum total of whatthey are-or wish they were-and playwright Wilson presents us with a poignant view of the human comedy.
