Water Main Break at Mason and North Streets

Public works crews on scene.

There's been a water main break at North and Mason streets, according to an alert sent out by Mayor Driscoll on Twitter.

Mayor Driscoll said public works crews as on scene, and added "Looking forward to Spring :-)"

Crews are investigating which pipe is broken, according to Ron Malionek, the assistant director of Public Services for the city. It could be any one of five that pass through that intersection.

Depending on the size and severity of the situation, additional resources will be pulled in to fix the problem, Malionek said.
