Here are some tidbit from about town.

  1. We're loving the fresh gardening at the 9/11 memorial. Nice work.
  2. Looking for some volunteering activities? Ashley Steeves shared the following on our Facebook wall: "B&S Event Managemet is looking for volunteers to help on June 10th at the Xtreme Urban 5k obstacle race in Salem. Hours are 7am-1pm. We are looking for volunteers any time during that time frame. If there is anyone interested please email Ashley at bnsfitnessevents@yahoo.com All volunteers are welcome to the breakfast BBQ post race. We can guarantee this will be the most enjoyable community service you'll do all year."
  3. Mayor Kim Driscoll, Superintendent Russell and a team of representatives will meet with a panel from the DESE in an attempt to obtain a grant for the Bentley turnaround. Learn more here, and best of luck.
