Salem Witches will clash with the Beverly Panthers this Thanksgiving for 114th time, continuing one of the oldest high school football rivalries in the country. Hurd Stadium, Beverly at 10am
Now, for what's been going on in the schools:
PTO Meetings in the schools - typically the first week of each month.
Salem and the Country voted on Tuesday, November 6th. There was no school that day.
Salem Education Foundation launched an educational bilingual newspaper on Wednesday, November 14th. Salem residents and others interested, please pick up a copy of Education NOW/Educación AHORA Bilingual Newspaper! They're at Salem City Hall, North Shore CDC, Salem Public Schools, House of Seven Gables, Salem Cyberspace and Howling Wolf Cantina.
Bowditch had a Veteran's Day Assembly
Carlton promotes school spirit on Fridays by having the students wear Carlton t-shirts given to them by the PTO
SHS Music Boosters held a Mattress Fundraiser and 30 mattresses were sold!!!
SHS had a Veteran's Day Exercise
SHS Music Boosters held a fundraiser at Giggles, it was hilarious!
Monday, November 12 was a day of remembrance to those who serve and served for our Country. There was no school in honor of Veteran's Day.
There was a Solo & Small Ensemble Recital at SHS
Bentley held their Harvest Pot Luck Dinner
Witchcraft had their 30th Annual Turkey Shoot fundraiser
And if you couldn't hear the roar of the crowd on Friday night (Nov. 16) there was the traditional Salem vs. Beverly Girls Powder Puff game at Bertram Field.
