Salem Children's Charity 19th Annual Christmas Party!

  • Where: Victoria Station
  • Date: Tuesday, December 11th
  • Time: Doors open at 5pm
  • Admission: $15
  • NEW this year: Credit Cards will be accepted for payment at the door, silent auction and live auction items.

The Salem Children's Charity has come into possession of a "one of a kind" baseball memento. It is a color picture of Johnny Pesky
standing by "Pesky Pole". It is inscribed by Pesky (authenticated) saying "Ted, we finally did it". It will be auctioned off on Tuesday, December 11th as part of the annual fundraiser. The auction will commence at 8:10pm. If you have any interest you can submit a bid on line by emailing readspeak@comcast.net or call 617-285-7861 during the auction (8:15 to 9:15pm, approx.). The donor placed a minimum bid of $1,000 on the item. It strikes me as an 'investment". If you are interested let Brenda Walsh know. If you know of someone who might be interested feel free to forward this information.

The Salem Children's Charity fundraiser includes a live auction, silent auction, raffles and a buffet. 100% of all proceeds from the event will go toward meeting
the basic and emergency needs of the Salem's school children. http://www.salemchildrenscharity.org
