Turner's Seafood Grill & Market Opening in Salem Next Month

If you want to work at Turner's Seafood's new Salem location, now is the time to apply.


Turner's Seafood co-owner Kathy Turner said Monday morning that she is in the process of staffing her new restaurant on Church Street in Salem and that the plan is to open sometime next month.

A sign recently posted in the restaurant's front window advertised that ownership is looking for the following positions:

Owners Kathy and Jim Turner are opening their new restaurant and market in the space formerly occupied by 43 Church Restaurant.

The Turner family has been in the seafood business since the 1920s and has been operating a very successful restaurant and fish market in Melrose since 1994.

The Turners intend to hire between 90 and 95 employees and their hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Sunday.

A small seafood market attached to the restaurant will open at 9 a.m. when appropriate.
