'Save Your Market Basket' Employees Rallying in Salem
Market Basket employees have collected thousands of signatures from customers in Salem over the last few days.
The fight for the future of Market Basket was on full display at the Salem location Wednesday afternoon as a handful of employees continued to collect signatures from local shoppers.
Market Basket employees across the region have been out in full force over the last few days, gathering signatures in an effort to save CEO Arthur T. DeMoulas' job, as the company's board is reportedly considering removing him.
Workers fear his removal could lead to the company being sold off.
Market Basket operates about 70 locations in New England.
