Salem Contractor Sues Over Unpaid Bill for N.H. College Construction Project

A Salem company is suing for unpaid bills for plumbing and mechanical work at a community college in southern New Hampshire.

E. Amanti & Sons Inc. of Salem has sued two general contractors over what it says are unpaid bills on a $7 million construction project at a community college in New Hampshire, according to a report by New Hampshire Business Review.

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Concord last week against TLT Construction Corp. of Wakefield and Western Surety Company saying Amanti is owed money for plumbing and mechanical work done on the new Health Science and Humanities Building at Nashua Community College, according to the Business Review report.

On its website, Amanti said it has done many projects on the North Shore, including at Union Hospital in Lynn, Manchester-Essex Middle and High School, North Shore Community College and North Shore Medical Center. Its office is on Highland Avenue.
