Project Update: Salem's New AL Prime Gas Station on Lafayette Street

The construction of Salem's new AL Prime Energy gas station took a step forward Monday when the former Lafayette Street Market building was demolished.

Construction of the gas station, located at 175 Lafayette St., began in July.

City Planner Lynn Duncan said Salem's new gas station will have three double-sided gas pumps and a full canopy.
