Park on Patch's Dime in Salem Saturday

Salem Patch is paying it forward—and offering you the royal treatment on Small Business Saturday. We're paying for Washington Street parking meters in Salem. Stop by and meet us!

We want you to have one day when parking on Washington Street in Salem is a pleasure—no rooting around for coins in the bottom of your purse or pocket, no running outside frantic, mid-conversation, to feed the meter.

Salem Patch has paid for dozens of parking meters on Washington Street for Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

However, keep in mind, the regular time limits will still be applied to ALL meters.

We'll be handing out Patch swag—pens, water bottles, ice scrapers, hand warmers and more—and letting you know about our mission and looking for your input: comments, criticisms and suggestions.
