Healthy Hounds Doggie Daycare & Professional Dog Portraits opened earlier this month on Washington Street in downtown Salem. 

The canine daycare facility is located at 233 Washington St., and welcomes healthy, well-behaved and fixed dogs at its 3,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor air-conditioned space.

During daycare, dogs are separated by size, and weather-permitting, exercise in an outdoor play area.
