'Firenze Trattoria' Now Open in Salem
Firenze Trattoria opened Tuesday on Lynde Street in Salem.
Downtown Salem's new authentic Tuscan restaurant, Firenze Trattoria, opened for business Tuesday afternoon on Lynde Street.
Chef Zamir Kociaj, formerly of Boston's Trattoria Toscana, said he is aiming to bring a taste of Tuscany to Salem with the opening of his Florentine-style eatery.
The restaurant is currently offering a limited menu and Kociaj said he expects to begin serving dinner sometime next week.
