Firenze Trattoria Bringing the 'Taste of Tuscany' to Salem

Firenze Trattoria is looking to bring a "taste of Tuscany" to Lynde Street in downtown Salem.

Last time we checked in on the future of the former Lynde Street Cafe space in downtown Salem, the city's Licensing Board unanimously approved a common victualler's license for Firenze Trattoria.

On a walk through Salem Wednesday afternoon, I found this sign posted in the front window of the Lynde Street commercial space.

"Chef Zamir Kociaj, formerly of Boston's highly acclaimed Trattoria Toscana, is honored to bring a taste of Tuscany to Salem with the opening of Florentine style eatery, "Firenze". Whether it is lunch or dinner, we look forward to bringing authentic Tuscan inspired recipes to the neighborhood by the end of the summer."

Salem Patch will keep you posted as we get closer to an opening.

How do you think Firenze Trattoria will do in this part of the city? Let us know in the comments section below.
