Check Out the Taste of the North Shore on March 11

More than 20 local restaurants will take part -- from main courses to sides and desserts.

The Peabody Rotary Club is hosting its 10th annual Taste of the North Shore from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 11 at the Danversport Yacht Club. 

More than 20 local restaurants will take part -- from main courses to sides and desserts. 

In addition to food and entertainment, there will be a $10,000 grand prize drawing. Raffle tickets are $100 each and includes two admissions to the event. Only 300 raffle tickets will be sold. The winner does not need to be present to win.

There will also be a silent auction with items, such as vacations, sports memorabilia and gift certificates. 

The Taste of the North Shore is the organization's primary fundraiser and helps fund projects that support the community. Recent initiatives include a swim safety course, a CPR training program for teachers and faculty, a technology and innovation series and countless donations to local charities.
