A&J King, Rouge Cosmetics and Museum Top List of 'Best of North Shore'

See all the Best of the North Shore winners from Salem.

Forty Salem business, nonprofits and festivals have been honored by the editors and readers of Northshore magazine as the "Best of the North Shore."

Topping the list is A&J King Artisan Bakers, Rouge Cosmetics and Peabody-Essex Museum – each with three awards.

Other businesses that won multiple awards include Green Clean, 62 Restaurant and Wine Bar, Life Alive, Landry and Arcari, Cinema Salem, Mighty Aphrodite Maternity Consignment and the Salem's So Sweet festival.

The awards were first announced online Tuesday on Northshore magazine’s website. The ninth annual awards will all be in the magazine’s August edition and there will be a party to celebrate the winners on Aug. 27 at Misselwood Estate at Endicott College in Beverly. The magazine is published by Andover-based RMS Media Group.

Categories range from food and nightlife to shopping and spas. In all, there were more than 380 awards handed out. More than 37,000 votes were cast. Some of the new categories this year included romantic restaurant and brewery.
