Before i go on, i want to point out a couple of pictures i added to this post. In October 2012, i saw the same thing and i have been looking for the large group of Cormorants getting together for what i'm guessing is their flight south for the winter. They don't usually gather like this, they are usually alone, fishing. I was able to get them to go airborn all at once and it is a fun sight. i wanted to share. Enlarge the pictures if you can. The pictures were taken my last work day, October 27, around 7:45AM.

Here we go---

Last week---

Lois Lane & The Daily Planets rocked the rafters down at Brodies last Friday. I just love watching these guys perform and they didn’t disappoint last week. There wasn’t a still foot in the house.

Sunday/Funday was the usual kick butt show but they had something special to present last week. Jamie Lynn Hart was the special guest and special she was. This was her first visit to Sunday/Funday and I’m not the only one who hopes she will be back. She has a great, bluesy voice and is “easy on the eyes” too. But that is just a plus because she really got the room going with her voice. Come back soon Jamie.

Last night, Brother Brian and George Hall took the stage at In a Pigs Eye last night (Wednesday). I have heard Brian plenty at the Friday jams here but it was good to hear him acoustic. Great show guys.

My picks in the coming week:

Dave Bailin and the Bailouts bring Salem’s best rock and roll to In a Pigs Eye tonight, Thursday. I hate to miss these shows but I’m helping out with a retirement party tonight. But get your dancing feet and go on down and enjoy. See you next time guys.

Sunday/Funday. Brodies Seaport. Be there.

Lois Lane and The Daily Planet's  are back at In a Pigs Eye Sunday night. So when you are done at Sunday/Funday, it’s “hardly out of the way” to come on down to the pig for this great show. And you will dance til you drop.
