Tickets Now on Sale for Mayor's Night Out (Sans The Mayor)

Tickets are now on sale for Salem's Mayor's Night Out on Monday, Aug. 5.

Salem’s annual “Mayor’s Night Out” event will be held Monday, Aug. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Area residents are invited to join State Rep. John Keenan, the VIP for the night (Mayor Driscoll is out of town) and local historian Jim McAllister on a tour of three of Bridge Street Neck’s dining spots: Damata’s Pizza, Ninety-Nine Restaurant, and The Black Lobster.

The event provides residents the unique opportunity to spend time with Rep. Keenan, hear Jim McAllister share some fun facts and factoids, while at the same time being able to explore and enjoy tasty hors d’oeuvres from a few of Salem’s restaurant destinations.

Mayor’s Night Out is the perfect chance to see the newly constructed street, and mingle with members of the Salem community while savoring the local flavors of Salem.

At the final destination stop, the result of the annual Bridge Street Neck Beautification Contest will be announced, and winners will receive their awards.

The award ceremony and celebration is open to the public at no cost. Local musician and owner of Coffee Time Bake Shop, Rob Liani, and his band “The Hangers” will be performing at the event.

“Mayor’s Night Out” will start at the parking lot of Coffee Time Bake Shop at 96 Bridge St. (5:00– 5:15pm), which is located in the center of The Neck.

Tickets for Mayor’s Night Out are $20 p.p. and are available for sale at the Salem Chamber of Commerce ($20 p.p. / cash bar).
