The opening concert of the North Shore Concert Band Summer Concert Series has been postponed.

The start of the North Shore Concert Band Summer Concert Series has been pushed back by two days, according to an announcement on the Salem Park, Recreation & Community Services’ Facebook page.

A reason was not given for the postponement. The first North Shore Concert Band Summer Concert will now happen on Thursday, July 17 at 7 p.m. at the Robert F. Hayes Bandstand at Salem Willows.

Starting next week, the concerts will be performed from 7-9 p.m. for five consecutive Tuesdays. In the case of rain, the concerts will be moved to Thursday of the same week.
