Window Box Decorating Contest Now Open for Entries
Entries are now being accepted for the annual window box decorating contest in Salem.
Salem's annual window box competition in now open to entries. The contest is designed to beautify the city and show off the gardening talents of residents and businesses - which are both eligible to enter.
Registration is open through Wednesday, July 30. Judging will happen between July 31 and Aug. 3.
The awards ceremony and reception will take place during Heritage Days on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 5:30 p.m. in the garden of the Brookhouse at 180 Derby St.

The contest is sponsored by Mayor Kimberley Driscoll, the Salem Beautification Committee and the Salem Garden Club.
