Where Are Salem's Uncleared Sidewalks?

Where are the problem sidewalks in your neighborhood?

The roadways in Salem may be clear of the snow that fell overnight but removal efforts will continue today as city residents and local business owners head out to clear driveways and sidewalks.

Have you noticed an unshoveled sidewalk in your neighborhood or a local parking lot that might still need some plowing?

Is there a problem area that you've noticed on your walk through the city?

Let us know in the comments section below.

Reminder:

There are city ordinances requiring property owners to remove snow and ice from their bordering sidewalks within six hours after the snowfall ends or the city's snow emergency lights are turned off, whichever time is later.

If the snow stops and the snow emergency lights are turned off in the nighttime, the snow has to be removed before 12 p.m. Failure to do so can result in a $25 fine for a first offense, $75 for second offense and $100 for third and subsequent offenses.
