Did you know fluorescent bulbs - both the long tubes, and compacts - contain mercury and should always be recycled? Bring them to Winer Bros. Hardware on Lafayette St. anytime, or to the DPS building, 5 Jefferson Ave., the last Saturday of the month from 8:00-12:00. Compact fluorescents (but not tubes) can also be recycled at Home Depot.
