I have 2 pictures of the old train station of early Salem.
I want to design a free paper craft model of the station
I am looking for side views, top views and interior views
I remember this station growing up and would love to have a model of it.
If you know of any source for these other pictures please let me know.

Not one of the station, but pretty interesting none the less. http://www.salemnews.com/local/x1150907017/Salem-Depot-still-missed-50-years-after-its-doom

thanks for the links. I only wish there was side views of the whole building and rear entrance view.

Yeah, I didn't expect to find any of the other sides of the building. Back then taking a photo was a considerable undertaking. And expensive. So any photo taken of that building would have been composed to capture the focal point, the face/entrance of the building and action, the train steaming out of the entrance. Fast forward to 2014 and most everyone has a phone in their pocket and if that building were standing today you would be able to find images of every side and inside. Have you tried the Salem Public Library or the Salem Historical Society? Sometimes places like that have tons of old photos. The architecture looks really similar to many of the National Guard Armories around the state.

Looks like President Coolidge once visited the depot. http://crackerpilgrim.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/6208539682_e30f526d83_b-coolidges-at-salem-depot1.jpg?w=1358&h=1090

Found one that sort of gives some perspective of what the side looks like. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Eastern_Rail_Road_Depot,_by_J.W._%26_J.S._Moulton.jpg

I have been working on a 3D digital model of the structure and I too haven't found any useful photos of the sides. There is a small physical model of the train station located at the John J. Walsh Insurance Agency. I have a couple renderings posted on Picasa. https://picasaweb.google.com/dave33v/Renderings

thanks guys I have only tried online to see if anyone has photos. so I guess the next thing is libraries and museums. those renderings are pretty good. if I find more i'll definatly post them.
