Gardening enthusiasts wanted to help plant/maintain Salem Traffic Islands 2014

The Salem Beautification Committee is looking for volunteers to help maintain over 40 traffic islands this summer.

We have a great team in place but we need more helping hands. We'll be looking for planters in the spring and maintainers throughout the summer into the fall.

Is there a little traffic island in your neighborhood that you'd like care for? Let us know. Or, if you have some extra time and want to help, send me an email and we'll figure something out.

Don't forget to stop and enjoy the roses next time you're at a Stop sign or intersection.
