Turner's Seafood Grill & Market Opens Today in Salem

Today is Tuesday, Nov. 19, and here are the five things you need to know: 

1. It should be a pleasant day in Salem. The National Weather Service is predicting that local residents can expect it to be mostly sunny, with a high near 44. Tonight should be clear, with a low around 28. (sunrise, 6:39 a.m.; high tide, 11:54 a.m.; sunset, 4:17 p.m.; low tide, 6:12 p.m.)

3. At their meeting at City Hall Monday night, the city's Board of Registrar of Voters scheduled the Ward 6 recount for Monday, Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. Click Here for our full story.

4. The Salem Park and Recreation Commission will meet tonight at the Senior Center on Broad Street. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m., according to the posted agenda

5. Today in History: On Nov. 19, 1998, the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee began impeachment hearings against President Bill Clinton.
