Sunday Morning Worship Service
The Gathering at Salem, 221 Essex St, Salem, MA | Get Directions »
FREE
Celebrate our love of Christ with us - Sunday mornings at 10am. A rousingly inspirational worship music team, featuring jazz vocalist Jodi Ainsworth (a member of the faculty at Berklee College of Music), performs both traditional gospel and contemporary hymns, making a joyful noise in praise of our Lord. Pastor Phil Wyman leads a thoughtful discussion on the challenges of practicing Christianity in an ever-changing world, and how the Bible provides us a road map for navigating those challenges in a victorious manner. An environment of compassion and support allows for open and honest communication, sharing experiences which not only strengthen us, but affirm our faith. Open to all denominations, including those seeking a gentler path back to the church, hence our credo "short on rules, long on relationships." If you think you can't have fun in church while praising God, we have "good news" to share with you. Come join us, Sundays at 10am.

More About The Gathering at Salem
Founded in 1999, The Gathering at Salem is a center for spiritual development and dialogue that aims to improve relations between Christians and Witches. The Vault, where weekly services are held, is an old bank that was converted into a Christian church. Pastor Phil Wyman, who has studied Neo-Paganism, founded The Gathering at Salem to provide a safe place for Christians and Pagans to discuss their faith and develop an understanding of and a compassion for each other.
