Give Back, Get More Community Food Drive and Thanksgiving Open House
The Salem YMCA will be collecting non-perishable food items from November 9-25 to donate to Salem families in need at the end of the month. Items most needed include healthy snack items, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, breakfast cereal and canned goods including fruits, vegetables and soups. Inspire a friend to join the Y & we'll take $5 off the joiner fee for every item they bring in (up to $50).
Share the Y with Family & Friends for FREE Thanksgiving Weekend
The Salem YMCA and all YMCA of the North Shore locations will be open FREE to the community during Thanksgiving weekend (Nov 22-25) because we are so thankful for our members! Please note that our Thanksgiving holiday hours are 7:00am-12:00pm.

More About YMCA
A Salem presence since 1850, the YMCA serves the community by offering fitness facilities and exercise classes for adults, along with summer and day camps for children. Children can enroll in one of 60 camps or the Early Learning Center -- a year-round day care center for toddlers and school-age children.
The Creative Arts Center -- a program run out of historic Ames Memorial Hall, will involve children in every aspect of creating and performing live theater. It will also allow children to explore painting, sculpture and pottery making. With the Creative Arts Center, the YMCA hopes to enhance the legacy of Ames Memorial Hall, which was an influential place of meeting in the late 1800s.
