Located just a few steps away from Beverly Harbor, Carlton Elementary prides itself in its mission to educate the entire child.  In addition to educational programs dedicated to technology, art, science, literacy and music, the school is dedicated to the environment with a number of "Earth Friendly Projects." Carlton has been recognized as one of 14 "green" schools in the state of Massachusetts. Including art and science programs, which have been designed to incorporate a focus on the local community and ecology, other "Earth Friendly Projects" offered at Carlton include garden maintenance, as well as a program dedicated to renewable energy. Parents are encouraged to participate in the PTO's monthly meetings.
