‘Tis the season, Salem! Salem Park, Recreation & Community Services has been lucky enough to get Santa to take some time out of his very busy holiday schedule. Join us on December 8, 2012 from 8-10 a.m. as we celebrate this wonderful time of year with an exciting breakfast with Santa Claus.
Tickets for children under 3 are free. Tickets for children (3-8) are $5.00 and adults are $7.00. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Only 150 tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Your ticket includes a delicious breakfast which will consist of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice, and milk. There will also be fun entertainment and a 5x7 picture with the man himself, Santa! Pictures will be available for pick up on December 10, 2012 at the Salem Senior Center. Of course, you are more than welcome to bring your own camera.
Tickets will be available for purchase November 5 through December 5 (noon time) and can be purchased at the Salem Senior Center. For more information, please call Tim Short, Recreation Supervisor at 978-744-0180 ext. 20. Proceeds from Breakfast with Santa will benefit Salem youth programs.

More About City of Salem Council on Aging
The City of Salem Council on Aging is dedicated to providing activities and supporting quality of life for residents aged 60 and older. In addition to maintaining the Senior Center, which is open during the weekdays, the Council on Aging sponsors events for seniors which include social outings, recreational activities and exercise opportunities. Transporation and wellness clinic services are also offered. Meals are served at the center for those with reservations. A home meal service is also available. Volunteers and social services are integral to the maintenance of the center. Salem Veterans Services is located on the third floor of the building. Be sure to stop by the Salem Council on Aging or check the website for a regularly updated calendar of events.
A monthly newsletter from the Council on Aging, entitled "Senior Power" is also available for a small annual donation.
