More About A Performing Arts Academy
A Performing Arts Academy opened at this location in 2006. Its founders are Miss Seanna Chmura (granddaughter of Miss Helen Deane Bassett, who founded the local Deane School of Dance in 1934) and Miss Susan Byrne, owner/director of Dance Exclusive of Swampscott. The two original studios have a history of over 100 years of dance teaching experience.
The school has classic dance education and training for both children and adults. Classes include Classical Ballet and
Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical Ballet, Hip Hop, Irish Step and Tumbling. For a current list of classes, please visit their website. Fees are rated per age; paid by term.
