The last week and a half has been so fun.  I have had the privilage to give a awesome prize from a local business to a reader of my blog each weekday.  So far I have given away a cool lunch bag from Roost, gift certificates for Milk and Honey and Maria's Sweet Somethings, a beautiful necklace from Treasures Over Time, a class pass from Green Tea Yoga, a hair cut from a Master Stylist, and a set of high quality skin care products made in Ipswich.  It's all from local businesses (most are in Salem) and local business people.  

So, what's the catch?  There really isn't one.  I am hoping to get a few more readers for my blog, but that's not my aim for this giveaway event.  I want to highlight all the great small businesses in the area that I love.  I am also hoping that a little self-promotion is a side effect.  All you have to do is go to my blog MummatheHealer.com each weekday and see what the prize is.  If it's something you'd like to win you enter.  If it's not, you can check back the next day, it's might be the perfect prize for you.  I am hopeful that the people who don't win will still check out the business and spend their money locally.
